Kochi Tuskers Kerala vs. Royal Challengers Bangalore: Today on 8th May, 2011, the 50th match was played between Kochi Tuskers Kerala and Royal Challengers Bangalore. It was really watching fun and hope everyone enjoyed this match. The match was played at M.Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru, India. Kochi Tuskers Kerala won the toss and elected to bat first. The efforts of the entire were mix. I can’t say very well but even I also can’t say it’s bad.

Kochi Tuskers Kerala inning: So after winning the toss, KTK started their bat inning. Michael Klinger and Brendon McCullum gave the opening to the match. It was a good start and both scored 43 runs and with 6 fours in just first five overs. It was the over of D Vettori and B McCullum was facing his balls. On 5.3 ball, finally RCB got its first success. Kiwi gets Kiwi and the RCB lost their first wicket. Till that time, Brendon McCullum was at the score of 22 in just 16 balls. This was really a great played by him. Thereafter Parthiv Patel came on the field and also gave full support to the M Klinger. In next three over, with 3 fours, they took the score to 64 with loss of one wicket. It seems everything was in favor of KTK when suddenly got the second shock of the team. Klinger was bowled, oh what a bad shot played by him and RCB got its second success. Michael Klinger was knocked at the score of 24 in 25 balls and the KTK was at the total score of 64 in 8.2 over. Now it’s turn to play is of Mahela Jayawardena, one of the main batsmen of the team. Jayawardena was trying to play but Gayle restricts him but gave three wide balls, then in the tenth over D Vettori gained another success by getting wicket of M Jayawardena. He was caught behind the wicket. It was the third loss to KTK team at the score of 72 in 10 over. On 10.2 over, Gayle got a success. It was Parthiv Patel who was run out. He was just at the score of 19 when was caught by AB de Villiers. It was the fourth wicket of the team at the score of 73. Next was the turn of B Hodge who was just knocked at the score of 5 in 12 balls. Today he was not proved to be that much lucky for his team. Ravindra Jadeja tried to make some scores but he need a support which was not given by any of the remaining players. Raiphi Gomez was just knocked by Sreesanth at the score of 7. It was the sixth wicket of the team and the total score was 106 in 17.2 over. Seventh wicket of KTK was also gone in the next over by making just 3 scores. It was only Ravindra Jadeja who was trying to score some runs. But Abhimanyu Mithun stuck him at the score of 23 runs. It was the 8th wicket of the team in 19.3 over at the score of 122. The ninth wicket of the team was knocked at 19.4 over with score of 122. Thus in the way the entire team ended the match with total score of 122 with loss of 9 wickets.

Royal Challengers Bangalore

Royal Challengers Bangalore inning: It was not a big target for the RCB team to win and the openers proved it by chasing the target. Chris Gayle and Tillakaratne Dilshan gave good start. Both were performing brilliantly when Chris Gayle was knocked by Vinay Kumar at the score of 44. It was the first and only loss of the team. But Gayle had done his work as RCB was at the score of 67 in just 3.5 over. It was now one sided match and almost in favor of RCB. Then Tillakaratne Dilshan and Virat Kohli had done the remaining job and scored 52 and 27 runs and won the match in just 13.1 over. Both were remaining not out and RCB won the match by 9 wickets. Chris Gayle was the man of the match for his all round performance.
