Pune Warriors India vs. Chennai Super Kings

Pune Warriors India vs. Chennai Super Kings: Today on 27th April, 2011, another interesting match was played. It was between Pune warriors and Chennai Super Kings that is Yuvraj Vs. Dhoni. I personally was very excited about this match as Yuvi is my favorite one. Pune team won the toss and elected to bat first (which was a good decision) and the match was started in Dr DY Patil Sports Academy, Navi Mumbai, India. Although they lost the match but mine favorite has done his part very well and I am pleased with his performance.

Pune Warriors

Pune Warriors inning: So as they elected to bat first, the openers Jesse Ryder and Mohnish Mishra gave the start to the match. It was just 3.1 over when Jesse Ryder was knocked by Doug Bollinger. This was the first wicket of the team or can say match and Pune Warriors was at the score of 22 in total. Mohnish Mishra who played nine balls and scored only two runs was the next player who was knocked out by again Doug Bollinger. But personally saying I am happy as he (Mohnish) was just wasting the balls. Manish Pandey and Mithun Manhas was also not done anything and was knocked at the score of 10 and 0 respectively. This was really bad situation for Pune Warriors as the total score of the team was 41 with the loss of four wickets. Till this time it seemed that Pune warriors were in big trouble. But after that Yuvraj and Robin Uthappa maintained the balance and scored some runs. In next few overs, both players gave their best and took the score of the team to 83. But unfortunately they were not gone for long and Robin Uthappa was out by Ravichandran Ashwin. No doubt it was a big loss for the team. Thereafter Mitchell Marsh came and went back by making just 11 scores. Finally the inning was ended with the score of 141 with the loss of six wickets. Yuvraj scored 62 runs and become not out in the match.

Chennai Super Kings

Chennai Super Kings Inning: After the Pune warriors, now its time to play for CSK. Although the start of the team was too not so good and both the openers went back to the pavilion earlier, yet with the efforts of other two players they won the match. The first wicket of the team was dropped at the score of 19 and it was Michael Hussey who was knocked by Murali Kartik at the score of 9 in 18 balls. The second loss was of Murali Vijay at the score of 31 in 31 balls. Till that time CSK was at the score of 80 runs in 11.4 over. But thereafter Subramaniam Badrinath and Suresh Raina hold the entire match and took their team to win side. Both played so well and scored 63 and 34 runs respectively. Both players ended the game by chasing the target of 141 and scored 145 runs in 19.3 over. Thus CSK won the match by 8 wickets and Doug Bollinger was declared as man of the match and why not he deserved this as he gave a wonderful performance here in this match.
