Anjaana Anjaani Review

Anjaana Anjaani

Film Anjaana Anjaani directed by Siddharth Anand featuring Ranbir Kapoor, Priynka Chopra and Zayed Khan was completely shot in U.S. A colourful atmosphere is created in the movie. The production is smooth and smart. Akash a failed business and Kiara had failed relationship (played by Ranbir Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra respectively) met each other in an attempt to commit suicide on bridge. After failed attempt of committing suicide, a pact was made to go for the suicide on 31st December with 20 days to go, but they will use their last days as the best of their life. To fulfill their last wishes they were engaged on a journey helping each other. During the period they fell in love and rediscovered themselves. In this film there are much more of cinematic privileges. Their fun and adventures are watchful, but how the funds are managed to make their costly expeditions and amusements is not made clear in the film. As after a stock market downfall Akash and his friends are declared bankrupt and all broken. We also do not know whether the Priyanka is employed anywhere as she is always seen nursing his broken heart. The story of the film is about the jobless in America. Without any income the lead pair is living a decent life in New York city, and also finance without cutting their corners their misadventures also. Priyanka is having opportunity to show off her beautiful and perfectly toned body, she managed to look hot. She has done a decent job. Once again Ranbir Kapoor is the real show stealer. He is romantic, fun, attractive and arrogant for all the times, he able to manage an average film he never overdoes it is a fun film to watch one time. You will not be disappointed this time also by Siddharth Anand if you like the kind of pictures like ‘Salaam Namaste’ and ‘Bachna Ae Haseeno’. There are not very much fun moments in the film, there is not much expected from the film and the music of Vishal-Shekhar is quite average. A number by Rahat Fateh Ali Khan ‘Aas Paas Khuda’ is good with glossy packaging. For Vishal-Shekhar Anjaana Anjaani is the first film as composers with Sajid Nadiadwala. Though the Sajid has worked in the past with Anu Malik, Shanker-Ehsaan-Loy, Sajid-Wajid and Nadeem-Shravan. The reactions of public on music is still waited which will be arriving in the next month. Sajid said that the soundtrack of the film is not only the best ever but is the Aashiqui of the modern times. He added that this time Vishal-Shekhar have reached the new heights of the music. He is feeling a different experience entirely in this film. The seven songs are well managed in the film on the lines of Aashiqui. He is sure the music of Anjaana Anjaani will also find the similar heights in the coming years as was created by Nadeem Sharavan in Aashiqui. The current hit songs of I Hate Luv Storys are still hummed by the audience is very high.

Anjaana Anjaani

Vishal said that they are thankful to Sajid Nadiadwala and the soundtrack of the film will turned out to be magical. Every song of the film redefines the different kind of music we are proud of , we are doing best and take the music forward. We have already achieved thankfully what we wanted to do was something mad. The sharing of mutual comfort of the director Siddharth and composer duo have been expected by one. They have a long association of many years. After Ta Ra Rum Pum, Slaam Namaste and Bachna Ae Haseeno it is their 4th film which is also a romantic film. Shekhar said that generation gap does not matter in our friendship with Siddharth as he is a good and close friend of us. We are very comfortable with him while we work this helps us in going a long way to create best films eventually. It is has been a thriller we would have been worked together.

The romantic film at the box office had a very good opening yesterday. The occupancy at the places like Kolkata, Mumbai, Vizag, Pune, Hyderabad, Jaipur and Baroda was made almost 95 to 100%. The film made approximately Rs. 750-800 million net collection on the very opening day. Starring Rajni Kant and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan Robot (Hindi version of Endhiran) failed at the box office and also the people’s expectations.  Endhiran had a grand opening at the box office and all set to break records.
There are many misconceptions that the film is copy or adaption or remake of French Film La Fille Sur Le Pont (girl on the bridge) starring Danial Ayteuil and Vanessa Paradis, resembles Telgu film Itlu Sravani Subramanyam is not correct. In the entire three films two Strangers meet at the bridge to commit suicide is the only similarity. The film is a love story but is not following the beaten track, here the strength of the film lies. Both the actors performed best of their career. The film has terrific moments in the second hour. The film is the interpretation of the modern day romance. The film is not the usual prem kahani. The director knows well, how the characters are presented. Mamta Anand is the story writer and Advaita Kala screenplay writer. The film is alluring and rick in substance in overall look and having style.  There are frames of beautiful America in the film. Ravi K Chandran the DOP having a major role to make the film.  Priyanka’s costumes were designed by Manish Malhotra and for Ranbir the costumes were designed by Mamta Anand.
Dialogues are wonderful.  Ranbir having an infinite range and he is very much dedicated to his work which is evident in all his films. Of his generation Ranbir is the finest actor and is playing a different type of role in the film. Priyanka forgot herself and tried to be Kiara. She surrendered to the character completely, she has the unique quality. Zayed Khan  is good, Tanvi Azmi plays wonderfully.
