Pietersen can miss final match: Star batsman of England, Kevin Pietersen can miss the final match of ICC World Twenty20 if their team will make into finals. Pietersen is given permission to go to him home on eve of birthday of his first child. He came to Guyana on Friday along with other players of the team and they will face West Indies in their opening match. Final match of the tournament is scheduled on 16 May, 2010 which will be just 13 days after opening match of England on May 3, 2010. He said that he will definitely go to his home or will try to reach there as soon as possible as he can. He said that worry is that he would not get back in time. Kevin Pietersen said that he love to play cricket and they understand that it is his job. He has to do that as well. Kevin Pietersen told that he has discussed the whole matter with some of the players of the team. Team players have also told him to attend the function and said that as long as he is making an effort and see the kid as soon as he can then if he does miss the final then it is not a massive regret. Kevin Pietersen said that he will put his all efforts to be back and play for the team in final if there team will make into final round. Kevin Pietersen had missed Ashes due to injury and also missed tour to South Africa and Bangladesh as well. He got chance to play in Indian Premier League and looked like same old Kevin Pietersen with hunger of runs.
