Pandey and Kallis started the inning but team lost both of their openers at total of 31 runs in 5.4 over. Pandey scored 16 runs and was caught by Zaheer Khan on the ball of Fernando while McLaren shown way to pavilion to Kallis when he was at an individual score of 14 runs.
