Mumbai Indians in semi final: Mumbai Indians sealed their place in semi-final after getting victory over Rajasthan Royals on Sunday. They won the match with 37 runs on April 11, 2010. As usual Sachin rocks and smashed an unbeaten 89 runs off 59 balls. The grand total of the team was 174 with the loss of five wickets. Mumbai Indians gave a good start to the team. Rajasthan Royals won the toss and elected to field first. The opening batsmen Sanath Jayasuriya and Sachin Tendulkar started the game. Unfortunately, Jayasuriya did not do anything and went back to green room just at the score of 1. There after Ambati Rayudu came and he went back without any run. It was only Sachin who stayed at the ground for long. Jp Duminy also scored 31. So in brief except Sachin, there were no other batsmen who strict to the ground for long. Sachin played unbeaten 89 runs in 59 balls. It was a wonderful inning played by him.

Sachin Tendulkar proves his captancy: Not only this inning, but in the entire IPL matches, he proved his captancy. He proved that he is able to handle his team in worst situations too. With his intellegency and experience, he won the last day match and the bowlers of the team helped him by following him. Zaheer Khan and Lasith Malinga gave a fine start and took two and one wicket respectively. Although the opponent team tried their best and the captain Shane Warne motivated their team but all in vain. Rajasthan Royals were restricted to 137 for eight that also snapped their all-win record at home. Tendulkar, who had been in brilliant form this year, surpassed 500 runs this season and is the tournament’s top scorer.

Shane Warne ‘s team has made a courageous comeback: At present Rajasthan Royals are holding fourth position in the tournament. They came with the full hope of victory and their captain also supported their team and motivated them. They were well prepared for the match and this match may change their position. But with the defeat of this match, their opponent get a good chance to shift them down. In Sunday match, they started loosing thei wickets from the start. Their openers went back at score of 8 and 0 respectively. At the score of 34 they lost theirfour wickets which was not a good sign to win the match. Abhishek Jhunjhunwala and Adam Voges tried to stop the falling of wickets for brief period but could not accelerate for long. Aditya Dole played well and scored 30 off 18 balls at the end but it was too late in the day and the result was they lost the match with 37 runs. Their only hope Yusuf Pathan also disappointed them and scored 10 runs and then caught by Kieron Pollard.
