Kallis sees Bangalore through; Bangalore back with a bang: In T-20 IPL series the very important match between Bangalore Royal Challengers and Kings XI Punjab had been played at Bangalore only. Where the South African player Jacque Kallis the player of IPL- team- Bangalore Royal Challengers had made the match very exciting with his fabulous batting performance, which lead their team to the victory, infact very important victory. His team won the match by 8 wickets by scoring 204 to reach the target by losing only 2 wickets. Jacque Kallis had played very important role to give a very exciting wining of his team. He had batted out of his skin to win the match for Royal Challengers Bangalore single handedly. Kallis was very well assisted by Robin Uthappa who helped him to make half a century in just 19 balls to help them crossing the line with more than an over to spare. Jacque Kallis is now the highest run scorer of the Indian Premiere League series and will take over the orange cap from the earlier record maker Ravi Bopara. Kallis made Bangalore- People Ugadi day more special and full of celebrations by giving a victory to Bangalore Challengers by his single handed efforts, which was celebrated by Bangalore people by lots of fireworks and other celebration means. Jacque remained not out till the last over by making 88 fabulous scores in 55 balls included 8 fours and 5 sixes which actually made him to break the records. His partnership with Uthappa really worked out, as Uthappa made 55 runs in 21 balls by giving 4 Fours and even 4 sixes and made the second fastest fifty in the IPL series.
Bangalore Challengers appreciable performance: In their home town Bangalore, Bangalore Challengers have performed very well on 16th of March against the Kings XI Punjab team and won the important match by 8 wickets by losing 2 players only and reaching their target 204 very easily. It was a seventh match held at Chinnaswamy Stadium at Bangalore, where Kings XI Punjab won the toss and decided to bat first and made 203 sores for 3 wickets in 20 overs. Bangalore Challengers started their batting with their openers M Pandey and J Kallis but M Pandey gone after 38 runs against 26 balls and the partnership of 74 runs with J Kallis. Pandey took very important 2 fours and 3 sixes also. Then came the very important player of the team R Uthappa who has also performed very well with the partnership of J Kallis. He made 51 scores in just 21 balls and made second fast fifty record in IPL and gone off after the total partnership of 143 scores in 13.6 over. Similarly the third player of Royal Challengers was V Kohli who remained not out by making 16 runs against 12 balls and included 1 Four and 1 Sixer and reached their target scores i.e.204 and won their match against Kings XI Punjab. Similarly, the balling innings of the team was also good their all rounder J Kallis took one wicket of M Bisla, Dale Steyn took very important wicket of Yuv Raj Singh and Parveen Kumar took the wicket of R Bopara and allowed the Kings XI Punjab to make only 203 runs after the loss of 3 wickets.
Jacques Kallis- The record breaker: Jacques Henry Kallis was born on 16th October 1975 in Pinelands, Cape Town, South Africa. He is a right handed batsman and fast medium swing bowler also, that’s why known to be an all rounder cricketer. He is the only person or cricketer who has made the record of more than 10,000 runs and taken 250 wickets in both one day and test match cricket. Jacques Kallis was one of the world’s leading all rounders between 1998 – 2002, as per the ICC’s Cricket ratings. In 1998 he led South Africa to the ICC Champions Trophy title with two Man of the Match and the Player of the Series performances. He is only the third player in Test History to make a century in five consecutive matches achieved in season 2003-04, where as the others are Sir Donald Bradman Mohammad Yousuf and Gautam Gambhir. Besides that he has established a foundation also as The Jacques Kallis Scholarship Foundation which was established in Kallis’ benefit year with the aim of combining the academic and life skills programmes of existing school structures with funding and mentoring support from Jacques Kallis.
