I am sorry, says King Khan…SRK apologizes to fans- Shiv Sena Annoyed: The superstar Shahrukh Khan seems to be determined not to make any apology to Shiv Sena, inspite of several threats and warnings by Shiv Sainiks, as Shiv Sena is annoyed with him for his statement that Pakistani players should also be selected for IPL cricket matches inspite of the 26/11-terror attack. Shahrukh Khan’s film ‘My Name Is Khan’ was to be released on 12th of Feb’2010, Friday, but, Shiv Sena was totally against the release of the film and protested very badly and threatened to the Cinema hall owners to stop featuring the film in their theatres. Two theatres and multiplexes of Mumbai were damaged by the shiv sena workers, but due to the strong security arrangements of Maharashtra Police didn’t let any mishappeneing occur in the city.
Shahrukh Apologizes to his fans: As per the news agencies, Shahrukh Khan has issued his contents of apology to his fans for all the disturbances occurred near the release of his film ‘MNIK’. Shahrukh Khan stated that it is a first time when he is the fan of his fans and really humble to you all. He stated that he is not a star whereas, the fan of the rockstars (his Fans) and would like to have hugs and autographs and pictures with them. He really apolozied for knowingly or unknowingly if has disturbed any sentiments of any one, but it is for his fans not for the Shiv Sena. He is not apolozising to Shiv Seniks, whereas he regretted whole-heartedly and promised the fans that he would only make wonderful movies in future and keep-on entertaining them.
Good response of ‘My Name Is Khan’: Shahrukh Khan was very upset day before yesterday for the issue and protest raised by the Shiv Sena, but yesterday after releasing his film, he seemed very relaxed and happy. The response of the film was very good, infact his fans responded and showed their love and dedication by viewing movie in theatres without any tention and fear of Shiv Sena inspite of their warnings and threats. Tremendous response recorded to the film in limited screening of film in 13 theatres in Mumbai, with the continued protest of Shiv Sena. The movie opened to a house-full in Fun Republic, though its first scheduled show at 9.30 a.m was cancelled. For the moral support of the general public and Shahrukh Khan, our ministers like- Ex –Chief Minister Manohar Joshi was also one of the audiences of the film in Dadar. Similarly, Chief Minister Ashok Chavan, state Home Minister R.R. Patil and Minister of State for Home Ramesh Bagwe also visited INOX cinema in south Mumbai to watch the movie.
Shahrukh Khan’s Wife thanked all fans: Shahrukh Khan’s wife, Gauri Khan thanked all the fans of Shahrukh Khan who showed their love and dedication towards their super star by reaching Cinema Halls and watching his film ‘MNIK’ on Friday 12th of Feb’2010. She thanked the people on the behalf of Shahrukh and Karan Johar the producer of the film. She herself too went to watch the film in a theatre. Shahrukh is out of the country right now has also thanked his all fans and showed his love towards them who actually made him successful in the battle between him and Shiv Sena and went to watch movie in the unfavorable conditions even.Share
