Sonam Kapoor fitness mantra: Bollywood actress Sonam Kapoor who started her acting career from film “Saawariya” revealed her fitness mantra. She said she try to work out at least five times a week to keep her healthy and maintain her weight. She love to dance pilates and recommends half an hour of mad dancing before someone head to work to release great rush of energy. She keeps songs of Rihanna and Lady Gaga, Kanye West, Jay Z, and Madonna in her iPod which she can listen as she get up and can enjoy dance. Other than these activities she also does yoga and cardio which help her to maintain her body healthy. She love to have fun and for fun she goes for hiking and biking which she told her favorites and she keep on changing her activities with time so that she don’t get bored.
Sonam Kapoor loses weight: Sonam Kapoor was not always so slim and fit as she is now. She told that she made some worst mistakes like sleeping less in nights but later she realized this fact which increased her weight as well. She was too skinny till age of 15 and her family members started calling her with nickname “Giraffe” and at age of 16 she polycystic ovary disorder due which her weight increased about 30 kg. She was also eating enough and she was not aware that she doesn’t look good and looks fat. Soon she realized that she can’t dance with so much weight so she decided to make herself physically fit. She worked with Sanjay Leela Bhansali for move “Black” as assistant director when she was very heavy. After that she took about a year and half to make herself slim and lost enough weight as she was determined for becoming healthy. She wanted to look slim and feel young like others so she started exercises and eating right things which are fat free.
Avoid Alcohol: Sonam Kapoor said she is tee-totaller and she was never addicted for alcohol but she used to enjoy occasionally glass of white wine but she has even stopped that now as she knows that contains high calories. She also try to go in parties less thinking that she has crossed age of partying hard and want be in control. She said cheating with your diet once is not cheating as you can balance it with other things. She believes in early to bed and early to rise as she faced problem of weight gain due to lack of sleep in past. She won Stardust Superstar of Tomorrow award in year 2008 for “Saawariya” and after that she has worked in “Delhi 6”. She is currently shooting for Aisha and will soon start to shoot for Karan Johar’s “I Hate Luv Storys” with Imran Khan in lead role.Share
