BJP leadership divided over Shourie: In these days, it seems the time of BJP is going bitter as every day passes. Don’t be so shocked on this wording. This is the truth. First expel Jaswant Singh, then his remarks against senior most leaders and other secrets opened by them. This is not enough earlier Arun Shourie created a flutter in the party by calling the party adrift kite and with this he also called the chief of the party Rajnath Singh a humpty dumpty. On Tuesday August 25, 2009, few members of party collectively decided to take action against Arun Shourie and on the other hand some supported him. In this way, once again there is some conflict within the party.

Party called a meeting: On all this in the evening, party called a meeting. This meeting was chaired by Rajnath Singh. Some members wanted to take action against him while other said must find some intermediate way to sort out this matter. There were too much hustle bustle in the meeting, but they still did not come out at any result. Then finally it was decided that another meeting was held in late night at the residence of L K Advani. The party was divided into two parts. According to one party, he must be sacked of like Jaswant Singh and other said the sacking of from the party is not the solution, must find some alternative.

Shourie got show-cause notice: The party leaders decided to not giving any wrong information out. They decided to issue a show-cause notice to him and along with this; the senior members of the party will talk separately to him. With all this Arun shourie said he was very upset and disturbed. He also urged that the parental party Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) must take greater control of the BJP.

Party members disappointed: According to BJP vice president Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi it is really unfortunate that Shourie disclose the party issue publically in this way. He also included if any party has some problem with the party, and then he must have discuss this with the leaders of party. To take the matter in public is not the way to get solution. According to Rajiv Pratap Rudy, sure he himself regrets on this and want that some action is taken against him.

Shourie statement against BJP: In his statement Shourie said that there were few people in the party (he did not take name of any person) who are responsible for this and brought the party in such situation. These are the person who hurts the party members and party’s interest. Shourie was still sidelined in BJP and compared Rajnath Singh with humpty dumpty.
