Kasab pleads guilty to 26/11 attack in Mumbai court: Ajmal Amir kasab the name of that person who involved in the attack on Mumbai on Nov 26, 2008. He was the only culprit who was caught by Mumbai Police during attack. He was the culprit who was responsible for the death of near about 180 lives and injured near about 300 people. He pleaded guilty before Mumbai court about his offense. He said in Mumbai court that he was pleaded guilty to his crime. With this he also confessed that he came here from Karachi in a boat. He came here with nine other terrorist. He also confessed that he was also involved in the attack on Chhatarpati Shivaji Terminus (CST) and on Cama Hospital on Nov 26, 2008. He also mentioned the name of the main conspirator. He said Zakir-ur-Rehman Lakhvi the chief of the Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) was the mastermind of this attack. He said they all were instructed to conduct a suicide attack on Mumbai. The public prosecutor Ujjwal Nikam said that Kasab admitted all his crime all of a sudden. This is a great victory of prosecution lawyer and the police. Maharashtra chief minister Ashok Chavan said that now the judicial process against Kasab will took forward step very fast. The special judge of the case M L tahilyani announced that the case is likely to be completed before Diwali.

Allegations against Kasab: Kasab was captured on CCTV with another terrorist Ismail Khan while they attacked on CST. India was sure that Kasab was from Pakistan but Pakistan declined to accept this. In January 2009, it was officially accepted by Pakistan that he belongs to Pakistan. The Kasab has been charged with conspiracy, murder and pursuing war against India. Kasab investigation was about to start on July 15, 2009 but it was delayed because his lawyer Anjali, Waghmare refused to take his case further. After that a new lawyer Abbas Kazmi has been appointed for Kasab. The hearing of the case will start on July 25, 2009 in the Adiala Jail. A special anti-terror court set up is prepared for this. The chargsheet included all the names of the accused person including LeT head Zakir-ur-Rehman Lakhvi.

Pakistan proclaimed its involvement: This is first time that Islamabad (Pakistan) has admitted the involvement of their country in controversy. They also have given the evidences in a documentary form about the Pakistan terrorists who were involved in the Mumbai attack. The report also provides the information that the mastermind was LeT. It also indicated that Kasab was the citizen of Pakistan. Pakistan has also handed over the 36-pages information to India about the terrorist of Pakistan involved in Mumbai attack.
